Music Tierlist

This webpage is a living document of the worst waste of my time I have ever masochistically subjected myself to, willingly or otherwise, listening to music. It is formatted as a 'tier list', containing seven distinct 'tiers', with items therein descending in quality the further down you travel. Each item, or song if you'd prefer, within each tier is also in order of how good it is within said tier, so songs listed higher are considered to be better. This is my opinion, technically, but it should be treated as objective fact, as that will most please my fragile ego.
Get ready to probably hate my guts.

Also I guess I should provide a legend for the seemingly random parenthetical characters:

• (C) - A song I was introduced to by the SMW rom hack 'Casio Mario World' (Wyatt Crouchers ports of these songs are great and in one case better than the original (that case being 'By Fire').)
• (E) - A song suggested to me by my good friend Eric (currently unused)
• (I) - The song that introduced me to an album I later chose to listen to in full
• (L) - A song suggested to me by my good friend Lily
• (O) - A song suggested to me by my good friend Owen
• (R) - A song suggested to me by my good friend Robin

This song punched me in the gut, and I'm still reeling. I'm genuinely such an emotional wreck after this, literally uncontrollably crying. I'll probably have to revisit the rest of the album now, because I don't like the thought that I did this album (and thus band) an injustice by not truly opening my goddamn ears and listening) (I suppose I should have expected this, but upon the relisten I'm crying again in much the same way I was previously. glass beach seems to have the unique ability to bring me to my knees emotionally and make me bawl my fucking eyes out.)
7. 'glass beach (Twinkle Park ornamental ver)' - alchemist rats beg bashful (remixes) - Twinkle Park (R) (super close second to the original. This remix made me revisit the original song and give it the place it always deserved, thanks Hazel.)
8. 'bedroom community' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (This one made me feel something, I teared up a little. ('teared up a little' bitch you bawled your fucking eyes out, express that!!! >:((( ) Who knew this sucker punch of a song was lying in wait for me.) (I did it again, I'm crying again, even more this time.)
9. 'planetarium' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (The girl who put this one here previously knew what she was talking about (for once).)
10. 'yoshis island' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (I get it now, I can't put it into words but I get it now. It's weird though, I feel like this song should've affected me more than it seemingly did? I mean, I hardly even cried. Either way, this song is still really good.)

6. '(blood rivers)' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (Same sort of deal as '(forever?????????)' except even more so because holy fuck does the song proceeding this one on the album ('glass beach') ruin me.)
7. '(forever?????????)' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (I have a newfound appreciation of this short little tune, it helped to calm me down and allow me to regain my composure after hearing 'bedroom community' again. I don't think that it really stands up on its own as a song though.)
8. 'soft!!!!!!' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (Forgive me for saying so, but this song is very relatable. And I know I sound like a broken record when I say this but I just can't help but wish this song was longer.)
9. 'orchids' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (Almost as if prophesized by the lyrics, this song just fades out the album, with no tears, no celebration. It's a weirdly fitting end to this weird and wonderful album, even if I personally think that it's one of the lower points of it.)
10. 'calico' - the first glass beach album - glass beach (R) (The instruments and vocals are so good in this one, which makes it all the more unfortunate that the song is so short.)
